Getting to me from Luton

I treat at Pure Dentistry, 399 Luton Road, Harpenden AL5 3NF, which is about 15 minutes from Luton. Appointments are on Wednesday and Thursday. Aligner treatment needs a review roughly every six to eight weeks and those appointments are short, so it stays manageable even if you work in London.

How much do clear aligners cost?
Treatment starts at £1,950 for a simple single arch case. A typical moderate case treating both arches, up to 20 aligners per arch, is around £3,500. You get a written quote after your assessment and before you commit to anything. The price includes your scan, your treatment plan, all your aligners, your review appointments, refinements and your first set of retainers.
Why do you publish your prices when most practices do not?
Because you are entitled to know. The General Dental Council expects clear information about costs, and a price you can see before you walk in is the least you should expect. If a quote changes, I will tell you why in writing.
Are you an orthodontist?
No. I am a dentist and a registered dental technician, GDC number 75967, which means I am qualified both to plan your treatment and to understand how the appliance itself is made. Complex cases that need a specialist orthodontist I refer, and I will tell you that at your assessment rather than take on something that is not right for me to treat.
How long does treatment take?
Most cases run six to seven months. Simple cases can finish in two to three months and more involved ones can take up to twelve. You get an estimate with your plan.
What happens if my teeth do not move as planned?
Refinements are included. If your teeth need extra stages to finish properly, those aligners are made at no additional cost to you.
Is this the same as the aligners you can order online?
No. Those are posted to you without anyone examining your mouth. Every case I take on starts with a clinical examination, X-rays where they are needed, and a plan I am accountable for. I do not treat anyone I have not seen.
